Shift the narrative shift the reality
Eco-Governance offers a whole-systems framework for organizing ourselves in a way that enables all life to thrive. Reversing climate change and ensuring the healing and replenishment of the planet and all its inhabitants entails shifting from technocratic frameworks of domination that go against life, to whole system frameworks rooted in the language of thriving living systems.
When we shift to a holistic healing framework, new, integrative, non-linear pathways for addressing the challenges we face emerge. It becomes clear that we need to uncompromisingly coordinate our efforts to:
1. Identify and eliminate the root cause of the human and environmental crises
2. Remove the noise and toxins and reconnect nature's communication pathways to enable nourishing information flow throughout the system.
3. Enable the entire system to rest and recuperate.
4. Reorganize to create a global culture and governance system and restructure society in a way that is aligned with nature and with the distilled life-enhancing wisdom of accumulated human experience.
Eco-governance provides a holistic approach for healing what we have damaged and for efficiently managing collective resources in life-enhancing ways. It provides a comprehensive map for transitioning from our current governing systems to a system of global self-organization that puts the health of the whole as its collective orienting compass. It focuses on the whole-system health consequences of the governance structure, policies and laws and ensures full accountability for the consequences of our behavior.
Eco-governance redefines and redesigns familiar functions such as education, economy, justice, media, environment in new ways, building on multi-disciplinary developments, grass roots movements and best practices from across the world. Through technology it enables global citizens to co-create and evolve the system in constantly iterative and resonant ways.
The only legitimate purpose of governance is the cultivation of the health and vitality of the planet and all its inhabitants for generations to come.
Eco-governance follows and implements the Vitality Code by which nature self-organizes to ensure optimal harmony in diversity.
The Vitality Code ensures all parts of our interconnected planetary eco-system receive precisely what they need to realize their unique life enhancing potential in service of the whole. Eco-governance protects and implements this life-enhancing code of creation.
It provides a live virtual platform - an ecosphere enabling global citizens to self-organize according to the vitality code, and to lead best solutions and amplify their collective skills and resources for the good of the whole. The virtual-ecosphere integrates state of the art technology, and the use of big data to ensure resources flow throughout the system in optimal ways for the good of the whole. It puts in place sophisticated processes for accessing crowd wisdom and catalyzing healthy co-creative and decision making processes focused on whole-system health in all interdependent social functions. Health means healthy bodies, minds and healthy interpersonal relationships, healthy communities and healthy environments. All of these are interdependent. When there is oppression or disease anywhere in our interconnected system, conflict and disease will spread
Health is our most precious resource. Ultimately health and wellness are the primary hopes we all share for ourselves and our children. Without health everything else becomes secondary in importance.
Nevertheless, health is the greatest casualty of our governance system. Our health is constantly under attack from profit and power driven politics and economics that violate the fundamental conditions for life to flourish.
Health driven policy unites all of us across divides of race, religion, gender and nationality and leads to root laws that will transform our institutions and heal our culture and the environment.
Cultivating health means first and foremost prioritizing the physical foundations for life – clean air, water, soil, healthy nourishment and the biodiversity that is an essential part of a healthy climate.
When we get this right many crises will automatically be resolved.
Cultivating health also means ensuring physical and emotional safety, shelter, caring and mutually enriching relationships with each other, other species and the environment, and ensuring hope and opportunities for all to manifest their unique potential in mutual enrichment with the whole.
When we shift from a divisive language of power and profit and bureaucratic frameworks to a language of health and vitality, we will recognize the need for new expertise and leadership. When collective health becomes the key purpose and organizing principle in society, a vast range of creative solutions will emerge led by citizens working towards a common goal.
Our current political and economic system based on a language of power and profit disconnected from life is having a devastating impact on human and environmental health..
The planet functions as an interconnected living organism. Our health is interdependent with the health of all other parts of the system – with the health of all people, the community, the land, water, air, other species and the natural environment.
Where there is oppression in the system there will be disease. Any government that privileges a part of the system over the whole will contribute to conflict and disease and jeopardize the safety and health of all.
When we put our collective health at the core of our governance systems and policy – we will find creative solutions for all the crises we now face.
Health is our most precious resource
We need to move beyond narrow political interests and put health of all as the sole criteria of every policy.
Collective Health – means taking a whole system perspective and recognizing all social functions, including economy, justice, security, health, housing, infrastructure, education, media, welfare, environment are interdependent. Like in the human body all functions need to work together in service of our collective health and wellness.
The only legitimate purpose of government is to cultivate the health and vitality of the land and all its inhabitants for generations to come.
We need to adopt wisdom rooted in healthy living systems and cultivate leaders with whole system expertise, committed to the health of all and hold them accountable for the far reaching health consequences of policy.
The system relies on secrecy, privilege, manipulation and ignorance.
What can we do to influence the election campaign system and the quality of leaders?
Ensure real debates
that attend to the whole system consequences of all policies.
Expose campaign system mechanisms designed to privilege those with power, reduce and polarize issues and eliminate creative alternatives.
“You never change things by fighting the existing reality.
To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete.”
― R. Buckminster Fuller

for a healthy world
Health is the greatest casualty of corrupt and profit driven politics that violates the fundamental conditions for life to flourish. In the face of corruption and multiple crises on every front, we the people unite to create a healthy, competent and compassionate governance system - a system that puts the health and vitality of the land and all its inhabitants for generations to come as its key purpose and organizing principle.
When we focus on single laws in a linear and isolated manner, we are treating symptoms and cannot effect real change. Only when we adopt a coherent set of laws and principles that work together as a whole, can we heal and transform our system.
WE call for a shift in the governance structure that ensures all laws and policies adopted are those that best serve the whole taking into account their far reaching consequences for all.
We call on all leaders and citizens to adopt this manifesto in its entirety as the key organizing manifesto for moving forward, and work together to support its implementation.
manifesto organizing principles:
The health of our land and all the inhabitants is our most precious resource. When we put the health of all as our core purpose and organizing principle and adopt a whole-system approach, we focus on what unites us, heal our culture and catalyze healing solutions in every area of life.
Creating peace, health and prosperity requires a holistic, whole system approach that integrates healthy living systems wisdom and thriving communities. It requires that we address the layers of trauma and disease in the current human and environmental system.
Create root laws protecting the conditions for life to flourish that minimize need for endless regulations that compromise life for power and profit.
Healthy governance means full transparency of government money and resources and the elimination of financial lobbying and secret deals.
We need optimal citizen involvement through the creation of citizen expert councils to advise on the transformation of the political and justice system, revise current laws and advise on best policies for all governance functions.
